Hi, I’m James Hall.
I’m a self-employed estate agent with moveli.co.uk, property marketer, lifelong perfectionist and someone who has spent most of his life trying to understand why my brain works the way it does.
For almost two decades I’ve helped people buy and sell homes, from first-time buyers purchasing their first flat to owners of some of the finest homes in London and Kent.
During that time I’ve learned that successful property marketing isn’t just about photography, floorplans and portals. It’s about understanding people, psychology, presentation and the stories that make a home special.
I’ve also learned that my greatest strength can sometimes be my greatest weakness.
I live with ADHD and OCD. For years I thought these traits were obstacles to overcome. More recently, I’ve realised they are also responsible for many of the things that have helped me build a successful career. The attention to detail. The obsession with getting things right. The inability to walk past something that could be improved.
The Property Perfectionist was born from that realisation.
This website is where property, marketing, mindset and real life collide with my thoughts, ramblings and stories.
Some articles will explore what I’ve learned from selling many hundreds of homes. Others will share marketing strategies, negotiation insights and behind-the-scenes stories from the property industry. And occasionally I’ll write about ADHD, OCD, business, mistakes, lessons learned and the wonderfully imperfect journey of trying to build a meaningful life.
My hope is that whether you’re a homeowner, entrepreneur, fellow perfectionist or simply curious, you’ll find something here that makes you think, smile or see things from a different perspective.
Because perfection isn’t really the goal.
Progress is.
Thank you for reading.
James Hall
